JOB REQUIREMENTS: WFC is seeking a detail oriented individual that has a passion for troubleshooting and working with various types agriculture tractors, semi-tractors and vocational trucks in a safe manner. These agriculture vehicles are used on the farm to plant grow, harvest and sell farm crops working in indoors and outside when needed. This is a full-time position that includes a range of benefit options! Qualifications Minimum 2 years\' experience maintaining anything mobile with an engine, wheels and brakes to the hard core diesel rebuilder (Experience level determines career ladder placement) Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Driver\'s License required with an acceptable driving record Enjoys a daily challenge to tackle a project working with a team or independently to keep the farm operating efficiently Ability to use software and hardware available to troubleshoot and diagnose Willingness to help, learn and try anything even if outside a comfort zone Communicates to make suggestions for process to improve for the shop, farm or team Basic Microsoft Office systems knowledge to navigate email and other business information Job Responsibilities Adheres to all safety policies and procedures Safely maintains various types of farm equipment including but not limited to trucks, tractors and equipment, skid steers and loaders Keeps equipment updated and operational when needed Proactively identifies need for parts and maintenance Reports and documents information to track progress and expenses using software Operates routinely-used tools and equipment Performs routine inspections of equipment and ensures equipment is kept clean May be required to travel to another work site close by and work different hours based on the needs of the season Skills / Competencies Safe Work Habits Quality of Work Quantity of Work Technical knowledge Communication Effectiveness Dependable work habits Strong work ethics WFC is an EEO Employer Align wheels, axles, frames, torsion bars, and steering mechanisms of automobiles, using special alignment equipment and wheel-balancing machines. Change spark plugs, fuel filters, air filters, and batteries in hybrid electric vehicles. Conduct visual inspections of compressed natural gas fuel systems to identify cracks, gouges, abrasions, discoloration, broken fibers, loose brackets, damaged gaskets, or other problems. Diagnose and repair regenerative braking systems or hydraulic systems in hybrid vehicles. Diagnose and replace or repair engine management systems or related sensors for flexible fuel vehicles (FFVs) with ignition timing, fuel rate, alcohol concentration, or air-to-fuel ratio malfunctions. Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Install or repair air conditioners and service components, such as compressors, condensers, and controls. Install, adjust, or repair hydraulic or electromagnetic automatic lift mechanisms used to raise and lower automobile windows, seats, and tops. Rebuild, repair, or test automotive fuel injection units. Repair or rebuild clutch systems. Repair or replace automobile leaf springs. Repair or replace defective ball joint suspensions, brake shoes, or wheel bearings. Repair, overhaul, or adjust automobile brake systems. Repair, replace, or adjust defective fuel injectors, carburetor parts, and gasoline filters. Replace defective mufflers and tailpipes. Service internal combustion engine systems for hybrid electric vehicles.
