HYBRID / MAINLY REMOTE OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT!!!
THIS ROLE WILL LIKELY STAY REMOTE, HOWEVER IF COMPANY POLICY CHANGES, THIS COULD BECOME HYBRID. MUST BE COMMUTABLE TO BALTIMORE!!
Robert Half has partnered with a reputable client in the area to hire an experienced Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant, you will be in charge of preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, prepaids & accruals, fixed asset maintenance and other general ledger reconciliations. You will also be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. Also, you will interact with our external auditors for annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. This intricate position is involved in the production of Financial Statements, Cash Flow reporting, and variance analysis. Your responsibilities include:
Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliations
Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to cash, prepaid expenses, and accruals
Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks for multiple entities
Prepare month end balance sheet account reconciliations
Prepare monthly budget to actual variance analyses for management reporting
Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliations
Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request

Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or related
3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
ERP system experience (MS Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, etc)
Experience with Full Cycle Month-end close
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience (Prepaids, Accruals, etc)
Fixed assets experience a plus
