Description
Asplundh Engineering & Asplundh Construction, LLC (ACL) are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role involves a combination of engineering and project management responsibilities, with a focus on substation, electric, and civil projects. The successful candidate will work across various locations within our service territories with a primary focus in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the US.
Remote (Preferable Atlanta or Baltimore)
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management : Lead the planning and execution of substation engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
Team Coordination : Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
Client and Stakeholder Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Technical Oversight : Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
Budget Management : Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
Quality Assurance : Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed standards and expectations.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all project activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including environmental and safety requirements.
Progress Reporting : Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, highlighting project milestones and addressing any issues.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and performance.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing power delivery projects, specifically in substation engineering.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to substation engineering
