Help shape the future working with the most advanced radar systems in the industry! Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector Test Engineering organization is seeking Principal Antenna Test Engineers to be an instrumental part of Northrop Grumman's Test Engineering Team. This position will start out in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and the position will then be located in Waynesboro, VA. What You'll Get to Do :
Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
Software development for automating test processes and data analysis
Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems
Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
Analyze test data and identify early trends
Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and proceduresThe selected candidate must have the ability to work in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and then relocate to Waynesboro, VA. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus or 3 years of relevant experience
Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
Professional software development experience using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
U.S. citizenship Preferred Qualifications:
Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range
RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience

Salary Range: $92,600 - $153,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
