OBGYN Nurse Care Coordinator
Updating patient records, overseeing workflow, administrative duties including pre-approvals and care management, patient education, and communication, and serving as a
leader/mentor
Phone Triage
Responding to patient messages in Epic
Follow up staff messages
Prescription refill requests
Obtaining /prior authorizations
Lab results- Informing patients via telephone call and/or letter
Reviewing records of incoming OB transfers
Medical equipment ordering (BP cuff, Breast pumps, Pregnancy belts
Patient education
Telemedicine intake/prenatal education for new patients ( 8-12 weeks)
Shift
Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am-4:30 pm/5:00 pm
NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS
Qualifications
MUST hold an active Maryland RN License
OB/GYN or labor and delivery/postpartum care experience OR adult medicine acceptable
