The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), Institute of Human Virology (IHV)is currently recruiting for aLead Product and Technology Analyst. The Lead Product and Technology Analyst will be responsible for leading the development and strategy of our digital health products, ensuring they meet the market needs and improve patient care through innovative technology solutions. Job Duties: * Define and prioritize product features and requirements, translating complex public health needs into clear, actionable development plans for the HIS team. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, public health professionals, to deliver high-quality health informatics products. * Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine product offerings continually. * Oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget. * Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and others relevant to health data privacy and security. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications and user manuals. * Monitor and report on product performance metrics, utilizing data to inform future product development strategies. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Education:Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field to data being analyzed. Experience:Five (5) years of directly related experience with statistical or data analytics, business improvement, or quality assurances practices. Other:Prior experience working with Power BI for Office 365, SQL, Crystal Reports, SharePoint, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and PowerPivot is preferred.
