Johns Hopkins University Junior Lecturer in Baltimore, Maryland

The Economics Department at Johns Hopkins University is looking to hire a Professional Teaching Assistant for a full-time Junior Lecturer position with benefits. The person hired would act as a Teaching Assistant for four courses in Economics per semester, for a total of eight courses in the academic year. The person could also do academic advising for the department, which would be a course release per year. Minimum qualifications: Bachelors in Economics, with some experience as a teaching assistant or tutoring undergraduates. Women and underrepresented minorities are strongly encouraged to apply. Instructional and administrative responsibilities of the position include:

  • Possibility of leading sections of course(s) as a Teaching Assistant.

  • Possibility of acting as Academic Advisor to Economics majors or minors.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelors in Economics, with some experience as a teaching assistant or tutoring undergraduates.
