Johns Hopkins University Financial Mathematics Lecturer in Baltimore, Maryland

The Johns Hopkins University's Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics seeks applicants for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position commencing August 1, 2022, on the university's Homewood Campus.

The selected individual will be a member of the faculty in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics. The lecturer will be expected to teach graduate-level courses offered by the department in both the Financial Mathematics and the Applied Mathematics and Statistics Masters programs. More precisely, the courses will be in areas that intersect quantitative finance, mathematics, statistics and/or data science. The selected individual will also advise students who are enrolled in the Financial Mathematics program. Successful candidates must have a strong academic background, with a PhD or other doctoral degree in one of the following: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline. Previous employment experience in finance or related areas is preferred but not required.
