Position Description:

CGI is looking for a dynamic Enterprise Business Architect (EA) to define and enable a comprehensive view across the business using technology. As the Enterprise Business Architect, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of business capabilities across the organization. You will collaborate with business leaders, IT architects, and other stakeholders to shape the organization's business and technology landscape, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.

This position is located in our Baltimore, MD office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead discussions with business leaders to identify and prioritize enterprise-level business capabilities.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive inventories of business capabilities, data, processes, and technologies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to document the organization's enterprise-wide business and technology landscape.

• Refine the enterprise business capability model and maturity optimization framework to support long-term strategic objectives.

• Contribute insights to the strategic planning process and provide guidance on the scope of strategic initiatives.

• Deliver key artifacts including Enterprise Capability Models, Capability Heatmaps, and Capability Roadmaps.

• Partner with solution architects to align current and future technologies with business capabilities.

• Provide leadership and support for initiatives aimed at enhancing enterprise-level business capabilities.

• Advocate for best practices in business architecture and drive standardization across the organization.

• Assess and prioritize proposed enterprise capabilities to optimize investments.

• Recent experience in developing enterprise business capability maturity maps.

• Deep understanding of core business functions and processes across multiple business units.

• Ability to translate overarching business strategies into actionable business capabilities.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

• Proven ability to manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines at an enterprise level.

• Strong executive presence and ability to influence change at all levels of the organization.

• Innovative thinking and ability to propose transformative solutions.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• All other duties as assigned or directed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• 8+ years of senior-level analysis experience in business process analysis or business unit experience.

• 4+ years of experience with Application Portfolio Management.

• 4+ years of strategic thinking and system design architecture experience.

• 4+ years of experience conducting gap analysis.

• Proficiency in utilizing BPMN to create clear and visual representations of business processes.

• Expert-level experience with implementing design in ServiceNow.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Desired (not required) Skills:

• Experience implementing ServiceNow and APM at a federal government agency.

• Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

• Demonstrating your ability to lead initiatives, drive consensus, and inspire others to action will be highly valuable in this role.

• Any relevant certifications, training programs, or experiences that demonstrate your willingness to stay current in your field.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $213,800.00.
