TEKsystems Desktop Support Technician in Baltimore, Maryland

Description:

This positions sits on the Desktop Team at the Baltimore Location. This resource is responsible for supporting all Dell equipment. This person will be responsible for anything hardware related and will be responsible for ordering parts from Dell. This can range from broken screens, failing motherboards and hard drives, installation of monitors as well as replacing parts for their thin clients. The client is in the process of moving to the VDI, so these resources will also be responsible for setting up the new Flex Desks that are cohesive to this new environment. Ideally looking for someone that has experience with software installs as well, to help support the desktop team when they are slow on hardware repairs.

Top Skills' Details

  1. 3-4 years experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware for Thin Clients, PCs, and Peripherals

  2. Ability to coordinate and work directly with Dell to order equipment

  3. Must have Dell Certification
