As a member of the Brand, Marketing and Communications function of EY’s Advanced Manufacturing and Mobility Sector (AM&M), you will play a key role across AM&M industries by leading digital marketing efforts and supporting our platform of strategic events nationally. You will be joining a team that helps raise awareness of the firm’s experience in solving complex issues in the automotive, transportation, industrial products, chemicals & advanced materials, and aerospace & defense industries. This role will have US-wide scope and collaborate closely with sector marketing strategists.

The opportunity

Working nationally across AM&M sectors and employing a digital-first mindset, you will drive demand for EY services as part of Americas marketing campaigns, aligned to the sector’s strategic goals and revenue plan. You will be responsible for providing overall strategic leadership for digital marketing efforts: managing the development, management, and execution of campaigns leveraging paid and owned channels. Teaming closely with sector marketing strategists and business development, you will drive execution and activation of strategic sector events, engaging clients in-person and virtually. You will also have broad ability and opportunity to help optimize existing operations processes, shape new directions, and use your skillset to accelerate team success overall.

Your key responsibilities

  • Overall management of AM&M digital marketing campaign planning, management, and execution (including, email marketing and paid search, social, and display media), liaising with sector marketing strategists to ensure we are utilizing the most timely and relevant content/creative in our efforts across the client lifecycle

  • Build standard operations process for the marketing team to ensure efficient teaming with key stakeholders and across the team

  • Manage internal reporting dashboards, keeping track of campaign success, marketing KPIs, and other performance metrics

  • Work across AM&M sectors to plan, manage and execute a strategically aligned calendar of events (webcasts, conferences, roundtables), and associated budgets, working with internal teams to ensure appropriate approvals

  • Liaise and/or support AM&M sector marketing strategists as needed to secure content, EY thought leaders, and any other necessary pieces for a successful event

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrates understanding of advanced principles and concepts for communications and marketing, including the latest digital marketing skills, techniques, and approaches

  • Experience managing large scale industry events, tradeshows, conferences, virtual webcasts, and roundtables

  • Keen attention to detail and process, ensuring marketing campaigns demonstrating success through accurate reporting and measurement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive presentation skills

  • Demonstrated teamwork skills

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Works independently on marketing activities, sometimes managing the work of others.

  • Project manager for medium/large marketing initiatives, generally under the direction of the leader

  • Ability to work in a remote environment

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent experience

  • Approximately 5+ years of experience; marketing experience is required, digital marketing experience is preferred
