Student Strategy Analyst

The strategy team in GN Store Nord, is looking for an ambitious student analyst with a strong drive. We offer an exciting opportunity to become part of an ambitious team with dedicated colleagues, all of whom are former management consultants. We are committed to supporting decision making at the executive level and we play a central role in the development and execution of the corporate strategy. The work environment is informal, yet often intense and subject to tight deadlines necessitating a flexible attitude towards working hours in peak periods (flexibility in exam periods).

The job is expected to be 15-20 hours per week. You will join our Copenhagen headquarter and report to Head of Strategy Tanja Brejtenstein Jensen.

Join us at the heart of strategy development

The position offers a unique opportunity to get insights into high level decision making while applying your skills within economic, financial, and strategic analysis. Within the Strategy team, you will join a department who is responsible for developing and tracking the GN corporate strategy as well as conducting critically important strategic projects and your role will be to:

  • Gather data for analysis

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses

  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders across the organization

  • Develop and formulate strategic recommendations

  • Perform miscellaneous ad-hoc tasks

You will have plenty of opportunities to contribute with your ideas as you grow your strategy development skills.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you are:

Motivated to provide solid data, driven to collaborate with many different colleagues and explore any opportunity that may provide business value. You have strong numerical and communicative skills, but most importantly you are ambitious and eager to learn. You also bring:

  • At least 2 years of a relevant bachelor studies finalized meaning you are on your last year of the bachelor or in your first year of a master’s degree

  • Currently studying Economics, Finance, Strategy, Engineering or similar

  • Strong academic results (e.g. top 10% of your class) and professional achievements

  • Fluent in English

  • Experienced in using MS Office tools: PowerPoint and Excel
