Need 7 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Balaton, MN. From: 02/26/2024 to 12/15/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day. 8:00 a.m. to 5: p.m. Hours may vary during different times of the crop season. Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. JOB DUTIES: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Rock picking. Field tiling. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum (3) months experience. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Able to obtain Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
