EXACT STAFF Stand-Up Forklift Operators in Bakersfield, California
We are seeking responsible, skilled Stand-Up Forklift Operators, for a well-known Bite Size Potato Company in Arvin, CA. The ideal candidate will have recent Stand-Up forklift experience, comfortable in a cold storage environment.
Full-Time
Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00/HR
Shifts available: (Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed)
1st: 6:00AM-2:00PM
2nd: 2:00PM-10:00PM
3rd: 10:00PM- 6:00AM
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and other storage areas.
Transport goods to and from different areas within the warehouse or production facility.
Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage and maintain inventory accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Follow company policies and procedures related to material handling and storage.
Qualifications:
Must provide valid forklift operator certification.
Proven experience as a Stand-Up forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or production setting.
Strong understanding of forklift safety protocols and procedures.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
