We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to cover a maternity leave for 6-9 months. This role involves providing comprehensive HR support to the Business Leader in the C&EE region and being a part of our broader International HR Team. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations, compliance with labor laws, and fostering employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Business Partner for the VP EMEA North, supporting the regional leadership team in all HR aspects.

  • Provide HR guidance for day-to-day activities to managers, employees, and other internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, CoE in HR).

  • Supervise the local HR Coordinator and assign tasks as needed.

  • Manage the employee life cycle, from recruitment to offboarding.

  • Facilitate discussions and resolve employee litigations, ensuring legal compliance (Works Council, Unions).

  • Provide HR support for business initiatives such as launching or acquiring new products.

  • Support talent development by partnering with local leadership to create impactful development plans.

  • Streamline and optimize HR offerings and processes off to ensure HR success.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in international companies with a matrix organization.

  • Strong background in HR Business Partnering with a solid understanding of business strategy.

  • Extensive knowledge of HR processes in Germany; familiarity with other countries in the region is a plus.

  • Thorough understanding of employment law and relevant legislation (e.g., works council law).

  • Proficiency in operational HR disciplines including personnel administration, reward & recognition, restructuring, talent acquisition & retention, and payroll.

  • Ability to influence leaders and employees at all levels across various business units.

  • Strong intercultural competence and communication skills in both German and English.

  • Demonstrated people management and project management skills, with a hands-on approach and high energy.

  • Personal style characterized by collaboration, confidence, and passion for client-related business.
