Fresenius Medical Care North America Senior Marketing Manager (m/f/d) - Acute Kidney Injury Therapies in Bad Homburg, Germany

The Senior Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of global strategies and projects that fuel the sales of products from the Fresenius Medical Care Critical Care AKI value stream. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive global marketing plans, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to craft impactful marketing materials, and effectively leveraging communication and sales channels to convey brand messaging to our core audiences. The Senior Marketing Manager will also collaborate with regional and country organizations to drive growth in market share, revenue, and profit. Commitment to the Fresenius Medical Care Compliance Program is essential, including adherence to all regulatory and departmental policy requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the Critical Care AKI global marketing plan, incorporating current consumer insights and future trends to meet business objectives, in close collaboration with product managers and regional marketers.

  • Identify customer needs through market research and ongoing engagement with potential and existing Critical Care AKI customers.

  • Execute global downstream marketing plans with precision and strategic insight.

  • Expertly use marketing and communications technology programs (e.g., Veeva).

  • Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) by working closely with the Medical group to create opportunities for collaboration and exchange of expertise.

  • Facilitate peer-to-peer education initiatives, leveraging the insights and influence of KOLs to enhance the reach and effectiveness of our educational programs.

  • Develop, implement, and provide training on marketing policies, procedures, compliance, and processes.

  • Conduct After Action Reviews (AARs) for all key campaigns or activities to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Manage the global tradeshow budget and marketing budget for asset development.

  • Assist with various projects and other duties as assigned by direct supervision.

What We Expect:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field; an advanced degree is desirable.

  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing, specifically in brand management or communications.

  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration between commercial and product management organizations.

  • Demonstrated success in executing marketing plans and initiatives within a complex matrix organization.

  • Relevant experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences/pharma sector.

  • Proficiency in conceptualizing and reviewing creative materials to align with business needs.

  • Exceptional organizational, communication (oral and written), and leadership skills.

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • Strong decision-making skills and adaptability to change.

  • Demonstrated ability to creatively apply brand style and tone across a variety of marketing assets.
