Cummins Behavioral Health Systems Inc. Data Analyst in Avon, Indiana

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. has a new opportunity as Data Analyst to work at our office in Avon, IN. This position requires in-office work and Indiana residency only.

Job Summary:

Coordinate and collaborate with leadership staff to support strategic projects and initiatives for daily operational activities. Discover, interpret, and communicate significant patterns in data to help leadership gain insight and meaning for decision making. Maintain and develop reporting dashboards.

Essential Functions:

Regular and reliable attendance is necessary to perform the following essential functions of the position. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Data Analytic Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain leading analytic systems that cultivate data as a strategic business asset. Maintain organizational key performance indicators, benchmarks, and other data metrics used to guide organizational decision making.

  • System Validity: Ensure data analytics systems are robust and capable of providing accurate data for leaders to use in data-driven decision making.

  • Data Analysis: Identify trends and growth opportunities by analyzing complex data sets. Evaluate internal systems for efficiencies and process improvements. Lead data analysis initiatives that assist organizational leaders in better understanding data implications.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, information technology, healthcare administration or related field.

  • Three years’ experience in data analysis.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Proficiency in Power BI.

  • Data Analysis: General knowledge in business process analysis, data architecture design, and implementation of workflow-enabled solutions. Analytical skills to transform data and impact business processes.

  • Systems Thinking Skills: Ability to effectively work and build working relationships cross-functionally; Ability to make decisions in the best interest of the organization and the people we serve; Ability to approach work through collaborating with a team; Ability to seek understanding without jumping to judgements or conclusions; Ability to consider all interconnected departments and steps of a workflow; Ability to get a team to work across functions as needed.

  • Prioritization Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently use time
