Position Purpose:

Responsible for developing and/or conducting a variety of training programs and assessment tools.

  • Conduct training needs analyses to determine specific training needs for department staff and evaluate effectiveness

  • Identify, develop and conduct appropriate training programs, including selecting and designing appropriate training aids

  • Recommend and leverage Training Best Practices and adult learning methodologies as it relates to training content and delivery

  • Collaborate with target learner stakeholders to articulate learning objectives and performance expectations for new and existing curriculum

  • Establish assessments to measure the how effectively the training curriculum meets Learning Objectives and Performance metrics; recommend and/or develop appropriate changes to enhance effectiveness

  • Collaborate with Documentation and Content Development teams to ensure training curriculum leverages approved Standard Work Instructions and Business Process Flows

  • Maintain records of training activities and employee progress

  • Recognizes when someone is struggling and can recommend and implement strategies for success

  • Uses a variety of technology platforms to reinforce training.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of training experience, preferably in a managed care or healthcare setting.

  • Auditing experience preferred.
