About the CorporationThe Texas Permanent School Fund Corporation (Texas PSF) was created by Texas first Constitution in 1845 as a perpetual fund to support the states public schools and was initially seeded with $2 million. Since that time, the PSF Corporation has grown to comprise over $56 billion in assets and will distribute nearly $2.2 billion annually to Texas K-12 schools. Broad Responsibilities Include the Following Assist with monitoring transactions and modeling investments. Assist with preparation of basic investment analysis, including review of financial statements, company performance, and market trends to evaluate investment opportunities. Conduct investment due diligence for potential investments, overseeing comprehensive research, and analyze and evaluate data to assess suitability and alignment with investment criteria. Conduct in-depth research of market trends, economic developments, and industry innovations through available technology platforms and risk systems. Monitor the performance of existing investments, tracking key performance indicators, and conducting periodic reviews to assess their continued suitability and alignment with investment objectives. Assist in the execution of an Investment Committee (IC) memos and presentations. Attend meetings with clients, law firms, vendors, and stakeholders. Qualifications: Qualifications Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelors degree. Relevant investment or financial analysis experience. Preferred Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Data Analytics, or a related field. Financial Modeling Software such as PowerBI or Tableau. Underwrite direct investments for co-investment efforts. Charted Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alterative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Data Analytics, or similar industry related certifications. We Offer Bonuses based on individual and fund performance.
