Google Technical Program Manager III, Analytics and Reporting, Trust and Safety in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program management.

  • Experience building dashboard solutions and infrastructure development for centralizing data.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience leading large cross-functional projects with the ability to grow in an ambiguous environment.

  • Ability to articulate your thoughts clearly, able to follow up on tasks and questions on behalf of engineers.

  • Ability to design process improvements that are tailored to the needs of a specific project.

  • Ability to think through and design processes and be organized.

  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work closely with Technical, Product, and Policy stakeholders to develop and align project priorities and schedules.

  • Break down complex problems to design and deliver effective technical solutions in collaborations with Data Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Product and Engineering partners. Identify and solve cross-functional and inter-team issues quickly.

  • Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope across a global team. Exercise independent judgment and develop recommendations that translate into a course of action.

  • Design and implement build and operational processes that help the teams/organization scale.

  • Design and implement dashboard solutions supporting effective program management.
