As a Senior in the Manufacturing discipline, you will play a critical role in the establishment, optimization, or transformation of our organization's manufacturing functions. You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing core manufacturing productivity processes, leveraging digital solutions, and enabling plant transformation to enhance asset productivity and manufacturing agility.
Your key responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will contribute significantly to projects and solutions that impact the manufacturing domain. Your informed judgment and use of appropriate methodologies will be essential in providing recommendations that affect your immediate team. You will also assist in coordinating work for junior colleagues or team members, ensuring that performance objectives and metrics are met across client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development, and teaming.
• Delivering manufacturing transformation with excellence within the practice and the firm.
• Expect to work with high-level client personnel and core operational teams to assess, coach, and implement globally leading capabilities and technologies within manufacturing, while driving culture and change management across plants and manufacturing networks.
• Primarily billable to external clients
• Defines and executes project deliverables
• Monitors deliverable completion and project status
Skills and attributes for success
To thrive in this role, you will need a mix of technical and business skills, including:
• In-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in manufacturing, including extensive experience in either implementing, teaching, or leading of Integrated Work System (IWS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, SMED, Rapid Changeover, or Value Stream Mapping.
• Process Engineering capability with deep experience in loss analysis, reliability engineering analytics, root cause analysis (RCA), and linking data and process together to drive out manufacturing losses.
• Knowledge in data and digital aspects of operation including experience with MES systems, Line Event Data Systems, SAP PM/Maximo/CMMS, or other data and digitally enabled manufacturing experiences.
• Experience delivering performance improvement on KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, Waste, Stops reduction, Unplanned Downtime, and Change-over reduction time
• Driving high-quality work within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
• Building relationships with client personnel and deliver quality client services. Strive to assist our clients uncover additional areas of opportunity and manage the business development process.

To qualify for the role, you must have
• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, or extensive manufacturing experience
• With a preference for candidates possessing at least 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing consulting environment.
• Expertise focusing on manufacturing efficiency, capability, and cost reduction
• Ability to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 60-80% of the time. Driver’s license and passport required.
• Ability to build and manage relationships
• Experience working in a Hybrid team environment
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Proven ability to manage and guide less experienced colleagues
• Experience in supporting service opportunities and assisting in RFP responses
• Capability to manage engagement economic reports and oversee resource plans and budgets
• Extensive experience implementing shop floor improvements leveraging IWS, TPM, Reliability Engineering Analytics, Lean, Six Sigma
• Strong familiarity working with manufacturing systems including MES, CMMS, Line Event Data, Excel, Simulation Modelling
• Experience in high-speed consumer products, food, or beverage manufacturing

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $176,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,500 to $200,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
