SHI Strategic Program Manager – Commercial & SMB in Austin, Texas
Job Summary
The Strategic Program Manager – Commercial & SMB will be responsible for building programs and processes to ensure effective communication and efficient execution, and champion the development and deployment of best practices to improve program and business performance. By producing repeatable results across a growing business, this person will enable Commercial & SMB to deliver on SHI’s long-term plan through alignment of strategy, structure, processes, and people.
This person reports to the Director of Strategic Programs.
This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
Lead and manage critical strategic initiatives within Commercial & SMB.
Develop and lead program management for multiple strategic initiatives that include but not limited to: Enablement and training initiatives, marketing & event programs, customer engagement programs, and business operations initiatives.
Develop processes for Commercial & SMB programs and initiatives while ensuring effective communication within Commercial & SMB.
Provide ongoing operational management for Commercial & SMB Programs.
Oversee the collaboration across Commercial & SMB departments teams and liaise between different Commercial & SMB leaders.
Solicit input and leverage lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and avoid known problems.
Effectively communicate program expectations to Commercial & SMB resources and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Coordinate and track the progress of programs and projects, analyze policies, goals, and objectives of the program, and evaluate overall program and project success.
Enable communication & visibility to ensure alignment across Commercial & SMB.
Explore new strategic opportunities by analyzing gaps and creating processes to address the challenges and align with the Commercial & SMB vision.
Act as a subject matter expert in program management matters and mentor others as needed.
Use clear, concise, and courteous written and verbal communication.
Establish a process for Continuous Improvement of the program including:
Performance Management
Process Analysis
Improvement Planning
Change Management
Qualifications
Completed Bachelor’s Degree.
2+ years in managing programs and/or projects.
Experience in relationship building for project teams, business partners, etc.
Required Skills
Elite problem-solving skills.
Experience in creating presentations, graphics, and org-wide communications.
Ability to show initiative without much management follow up/direction.
Ability to build relationships with internal teams and partners.
Experience with data analysis.
Written and verbal communication (clear, concise, and courteous).
Nimble business mind with focus on developing creative solutions.
Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
Ability to learn new concepts and processes quickly.
Conflict management techniques.
Meeting facilitation techniques.
Ability to motivate and mentor.

Be coachable and accept direction.
Preferred Skills:
Previous sales experience at SHI or at an SHI Partner.
Previous experience coordinating/planning events.
Understanding of SHI’s offerings and value prop.
Understanding of SHI’s go to market strategy.
Understanding of SHI Partners and their offerings.
Unique Requirements
- Travel to approved conferences or Field Sales Offices as needed, up to 10%
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
