SHI Sr. Product Marketing Manager in Austin, Texas

Job Summary

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will work with product owners and growth marketing teams to define and deliver Product Marketing support for existing and new SHI-developed cloud solutions and services. This role will focus on creating differentiated messaging, clear value proposition and supporting a good understanding of the solution capabilities with target audiences.

The role will involve working with a range of stakeholders from across SHI. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will work in a collaborative team environment that includes functional leadership, subject-matter experts, sales teams, writers, designers, and analyst relations. From this collaboration, they will be able to contribute to the design of effective, high-quality material. The right person will be able to give and accept constructive criticism/feedback with the constant goal of promoting the SHI brand.

Responsibilities

Included, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting increased awareness and adoption of SHI-developed cloud services and solutions, both internally and externally. This is achieved using a wide variety of marketing channels including (but not limited to):

  • Website Solutions and Services pages

  • Blogs

  • Product & customer testimonial videos

  • Sales collaterals (Pitch decks, and datasheets, solutions briefs)

  • Press announcements

  • Events & webinars

  • Social media

  • RFP content

  • Developing differentiated messaging and positioning that will guide marketing campaigns and accelerate sales efforts.

  • Creating content, with direct responsibility for messaging and articulating the value proposition across multiple media formats and channels.

  • Collaborating with peers across the marketing organization, including resources to assist with additional copy writing, digital marketing support, events management, and project management support.

  • Managing the production of product marketing activities and assets.

  • Maintaining brand integrity across all initiatives and communications.

  • Collaborating with internal business leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create targeted content for various buying personas and buying stages of the SHI customer journey.

  • Supporting Demand Generation and Sales Enablement teams with market knowledge and targeted content.

  • Supporting Voice of the Customer activities and working with product teams to ensure continual development of SHI services and solutions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ product marketing experience in the technology industry

  • Completed bachelor’s degree

  • Experience of one or more of the following cloud platform domains: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Hybrid Cloud, Cloud-Based AI Services, Managed Services etc.

  • Experience in content creation and collaboration with creative design teams

  • Excellent copywriting ability

  • Ability to create compelling and exciting messages that help SHI differentiate from our competitors

  • Ability to generate content and collaborate on graphic design

  • Ability to contribute to the design of effective, high-quality visuals

  • Ability to understand the audience and adapt communications accordingly

  • Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

  • Excellent follow-up skills with limited management engagement

  • Ability to take ownership of assigned workload/projects and follow through to completion

  • Time management skills

  • Ability to manage a high-volume role and multi-task several projects at once

  • Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite

Unique Requirements

  • Position may require up to 25% travel

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
