Amazon Sr Product Manager - Tech in Austin, Texas

Join our team as a Sr. Product Manager - Technical and drive the development of cutting-edge experiences for our global customers. In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver innovative solutions. You will be part of the Customer Experience Automation team within Device, Digital & Alexa Support (D2AS) org, where we create best-in-class self-service automation experiences across voice and chat channels. To thrive in this role, you will need a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities and write new proposals to help us drive newer growth areas for our D2AS Team.

  • Help drive state-of-the-art experiences tailored to the unique needs of our worldwide customers in the D2AS.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on fast-paced, challenging projects, experimenting with new possibilities and taking calculated risks.

  • Define and create customer experience for our self-service chat platform, catering to a global user base.

  • Develop product strategies, roadmaps, and detailed requirements to execute your vision.

  • Work closely with engineering, design, operations, legal, customer service, and executive teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Leverage your analytical skills and work independently under tight deadlines.

You will work closely with senior leaders across cross-functional stakeholder teams within Amazon to drive collaboration and influence them to prioritize projects, meet objects and adhere to business plans towards shared objectives.

Customer Experience Automation team's goal is to create a seamless and delightful experience for customers using Amazon products and services. We use advanced AI technology to anticipate and resolve issues before they occur, providing personalized support tailored to each customer's preferences and needs while respecting their privacy.

Our Customer Effort Elimination System helps customers get the most value from Amazon by proactively identifying and fixing problems, enabling self-service solutions, and automating processes. This eliminates unnecessary steps and frustrations, allowing customers to focus on what matters most. We equip customers with relevant information and data to make informed decisions and get the most out of their Amazon experience. Our approach is designed to be simple, clear, and action-oriented, ensuring customers can easily understand and benefit from our solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Experience working in building Generative AI experiences, Customer Experience Improvement and Self Service tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
