Description
Join the Splunk Infrastructure team and help manage and grow our huge fleet of Splunk Enterprise systems. Take on responsibilities to adapt architecture design, deployment models and the technology stack for our growing fleet. Ensure maximum service availability and performance. Apply your expertise in capacity planning to ensure we never run out of resources. Help deploy our services across an ever growing fleet of servers. Automate maintenance and monitoring tasks. Ensure an updated platform free of vulnerabilities. Keep applications current and ensure compatibility with the rest of the fleet. Explore and adapt to new deployment platforms. Resolve technical Splunk issues. Collaborate with various other application teams to lead and deliver exclusive products in an exciting dynamic environment.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Information Technology field.
2+ year of experience as Splunk administrator for large enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience on managing distributed Splunk cluster infrastructure and all related components.
B.S. degree in engineering, information systems, computer science or related field.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
In-depth knowledge on Splunk search processing language (SPL) and visualization.
Hands-on experience using automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc.) to manage application deployments at scale.
Working knowledge of scripting languages like Python and Shell Scripting.
