Amazon Software Development Engineer, Application Security Development in Austin, Texas

Description

Help us protect all Amazon customers, from Amazon Fresh to Fulfillment Centers. We are looking for a security-focused software development engineer who wants to make a difference to ensure that protecting customer data is at the forefront of all development.

Key job responsibilities

You will work on a team of talented software developers that builds production applications and services. These applications help all Amazon builders design secure systems for, and on behalf of, customers. You will be challenged by complex user interfaces, problems surrounding knowledge modeling and reasoning, and will solve for service scale and latency constraints as you build features that delight your users and integrate with critical systems and processes across Amazon. We believe in experimentation, iterating quickly, and continuously working backwards from the feedback of our customers.

A day in the life
