Wolters Kluwer Senior Inside Sales Representative, Software Solution Sales *Hybrid Remote* in Austin, Texas

*This is a hybrid remote position requiring working onsite at our Kennesaw office location on a weekly basis*

As a Sr. Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for CCH Small Firm Services, your primary responsibility is to drive profitable sales growth to new customers within a designated territory. You will be responsible for learning and staying current on the comprehensive SFS product line, prospecting for new clients and following a methodical sales process. You are expected to represent SFS, Wolters Kluwer within the industry and territory and contribute to sales planning and forecasting activities. You will report to the Manager, Inside Sales – Tax & Accounting North America, Small Firms Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meets or exceeds sales goals commensurate or above quota

  • Represents CCH Small Firm Services within the industry and conducts business to business follow-up and closing using acceptable etiquette and techniques

  • Maintains and masters on-going relationships with customers on the basis that each communication provides value to the customer

  • Develops and maintains strong knowledge of CCH SFS products and services

  • Discusses product functionality, product technology and counter questions regarding competitive solutions

  • Conducts business analysis prior to a sale and identifies opportunities within the current business structure

  • Utilizes various sales methodologies to prospect new leads

  • Maintains strong understanding and execution of sales processes including SPIN, Challenger or Consultative selling

  • Presents value proposition to prospects using a consultative sales approach

  • Overcomes objections, and uses active listening skills and persuasive selling techniques to close sales

  • Creates and executes daily sales plans including management and communication of sales pipeline to achieve sales goals

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university; OR if no degree, equivalent years relevant sales experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ of B2B inside/virtual sales or account management experience of an intangible product (Non-manufacturing or Retail sales)

  • Experience carrying a quota and exceeding sales targets

  • Demonstrated experience with consultative sales approach including developing and qualifying prospect lists and making presentations to prospective clients to explain products and services and their alignment with client needs

  • Proficiency using online presentation tools (MS Teams, WebEx etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales, account or relationship management experience in the tax preparer space

  • Tax/Accounting industry software/SaaS sales experience

  • Formalized sales training (e.g., Holden, Complex Sale, Solutions Selling, Miller Heiman, The Challenger Sales Module)

Additional Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application

  • Ability to work flexible hours; clients are located throughout the US
