We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to help us build seamless and efficient user experiences for our Advertisers. The ideal candidate is someone who has solid front-end development experience, and a prototype mentality, and is capable of iteratively developing new features while improving the UI infrastructure. Description

Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team of 7-10 people, who are dedicated to developing rich Advertiser experiences. Build strong partnerships with UX designers, product managers, data scientists, and other partners, to align engineering efforts with business objectives and product specifications. Define a strategic roadmap and carry out the technical vision for product and engineering activities, while maintaining alignment with business objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, especially senior leadership, to keep them informed about project status, risks, and opportunities. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and inventive team culture that values continuous learning and progress. Build a high-performing, inclusive, and diverse team of top engineering talent. Ensure exceptional quality standard for delivery, while adhering to industry standards, security processes, and privacy requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams, who are developing consumer-facing applications.

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant front-end and full-stack development expertise.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act as a credible technical advisor to the team; help the team make thoughtful, informed decisions in ambiguous situations.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • A track record of hiring and growing diverse, highly talented engineers to maximize their impact.

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
