Amazon Autos is embarking on a exciting journey to revolutionize the vehicle discovery and shopping experience that connects customers with their new vehicle of choice. You will work directly with dealers to resolve issues, ideate scalable solutions, build client-relationships and support the onboarding of net-new dealers to our platform. You should be comfortable managing multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least five years automotive experience, either at a corporate level or in a dealership (as a General Manager, Sales Managers or in Finance). A day in the life
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be based in our office. You will travel onsite to meet with dealers several times a year across cross several metro locations. You will work cross-functionally with our internal partners across Seller Experience, Seller Operations, Product Management, Program Management and UX and externally with GM-level dealer personnel and/or VP-level dealer group contacts. Your primary responsibilities will include: (1) supporting the overall onboarding of new dealers to our marketplace, project managing them through the process (2) resolving escalations/defects and creating scalable processes to address them (3) advocating on behalf of the dealers, managing client relationships and strategizing ways to grow their business on Amazon.
About the team
We are a newly formed rapidly growing team with a vision to create innovative discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for products in the complex automotive space. This role is part of the Amazon Ads org and is focused on vehicle sales.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years’ experience in account management, sales, marketing, or customer service delivery in related industries like retail, telecom, automotive, or technology.
E-commerce experience preferred
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability in learning tools and processes, effectively utilizing them for service delivery.
Strong service mindset and ability to use metrics to measure service levels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years’ automotive or dealership experience
Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $131,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
