This position requires working on-site 5 days a week in Abilene TX

About The Position :
Oracle’s Service Manager, Data Center Physical Security Systems will initially be responsible for the development, leadership, and management of a dedicated service team located onsite in Abilene, TX, USA. This position will focus on break-fix, maintenance, and security system service to the locally deployed Physical Security Systems and all associated hardware that support the GPS Line of Business.

Oracle’s Global Physical Security (GPS) Data Center Systems Team manages technology enabling the GPS Operations Data Center Team to provide physical protection to Data Center property, assets, and infrastructure. Oracle utilizes internal owned Data Center locations and third-party external Data Centers managed by co-location service provider

Responsibilities
What You Will Bring : (Requirements)
1.Managerial:
Required to have at least 10 years’ experience within the security industry, ideally having gained experience as an installation / repair engineer in the field.
Possesses a proven track record in both Service Desk Management and Supplier Management.
Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing Physical Security Systems Service Desk teams within Data Center environments, providing team leadership, mentoring and management.
Must be self-motivated, but equally comfortable working within a team or alone and requiring minimal supervision.
Must be a team player, ideally with global exposure to working with individuals from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate and articulate with a high level of proficiency in both the written and verbal format at all levels, up to and including Corporate Executive leadership.
2.Technical:
Strong understanding of industry specific service and compliance requirements as they apply to physical security systems maintenances in general and specific to data center security systems.
A working knowledge of various security technology resources including Lenel OnGuard access control and IP camera systems. Proficient with all basic Microsoft computer software programs and communications techniques.
Oversees annual Alarm Reduction and System Health Check programs.
Detailed knowledge of Lenel OnGuard is essential, and exposure to Milestone IP CCTV, AXIS CCTV solutions, Intruder Alarm Systems and additional Access Control Systems are extremely desirable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems
Working knowledge of IT networks - LAN/WAN, Intranet/Internet, Firewalls
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word Processing & Spreadsheet skills are absolutely required.
Professional Associations within Security Industry such as ASIS Membership & CPP
Licenses are desirable but not required.
Scope of Responsibility, Impact of Decisions and Degree of Supervision:
The Manager of Data Center Security Systems Service scope of responsibility will be regional in nature.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role requiring minimal direct supervision, supporting a locally contracted team, and carries a high degree of responsibility and operational impact on the business function. The qualified candidate will report directly to the GPS Director of Global Data Center Security Systems, who is based in the UK.
Processes and Methodology Used to Perform Job:
This position will lead collaborative teams and resources to successful performance. Conduct analysis of business needs and identify programs & services required to meet those needs.
Education and Experience:
Ability to show experience in above required essential functions is mandatory.
BS/BA Degree desirable but not mandatory.
Industry certifications are preferred, but not absolutely required.

US: Hiring Range: from $76,600 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
