Product Management ensures sustainable value creation for patients, customers, the business, and society across the entire Elekta portfolio. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and maintaining regional needs to enhance automation and streamline workflows. The candidate will act as the interface between multiple products and must be proficient in programming languages, have a deep understanding of both scripting development, interfaces, and user needs for the product area. The position is based in Dallas and requires interacting with an international team. It is a 3-year contract, renewable based on performance and business need. Domestic travels might be needed occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Spend 2 days per week working within a hospital setting, understanding its unique needs and challenges and helping them craft solutions aligned with the Elekta ecosystem.
  • Partner closely with customers, software engineers, and product managers to translate needs for region Americas into effective interfaces, automation and product features.
  • Ensure development aligns with the relevant product roadmap.
  • Design, develop, maintain and optimize scripts and interfaces as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing scripts and interfaces ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with key partners as needed across the business to ensure product safety, reliability, and performance meet industry standards.
  • Participate in development of the vision, strategy and roadmaps, as requested by your manager.
  • Work closely with downstream partners, as requested by your manager.
  • Be a role model of Elekta Values.
  • Creation and maintenance of interfaces which automate daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years experience in the clinical, technical or product area of responsibility.
  • Proven experience as a programming languages or similar role.
  • Certifications in relevant programming languages or technologies.
  • Ability to use subject matter expertise and knowledge to collaborate and influence across functions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand and convey complex technical solutions that combines hardware, electronics and software.
  • Collaborative mindset, ability to act without formal authority across functions.
  • Integrator of technical and clinical views.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to travel domestically.

The US base salary range for this position is $60/hr.- $72/hr.
