To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for a RCC Retail Data Governance Project Manager to help us do extraordinary things. Retail Customer Care (RCC) focuses on providing an industry-leading, extraordinary experience to every interaction it engages in. The RCC Retail Data Governance Project Manager role supports Retail Business in Core Data initiatives.
Description
This role is focused on ensuring that business customer data is created with accuracy, validity and aligns to centrally managed records that are used by several downstream Apple business applications. You will be responsible for data initiatives that enable Retail Business. This includes data profiling, documenting data definitions, managing quality rules, and auditing for compliance. You will query and analyze data in large volume systems and sources to provide insight on operational performance and data quality. A primary responsibility is resolving data issues (near real time) as they occur, that could have a negative impact on the business teams ability to effectively identify and support Apple’s customers. In order to be effective in this role, you would successfully partner with Apple’s Business teams, Channel partners and PS&T to resolve common data issues. The environment is fast-paced and constantly evolving with the need to provide consistent data analysis on non-compliance and effective resolution of data issues.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in project management, including working with data and insights
2+ years of experience in SQL and data analytics platforms, such as Snowflake
Advanced skills in Excel and business intelligence tools, i.e. Tableau, Tableau Prep, FileMaker, etc.

Strong data analysis skills along with experience in detailed analysis of source systems, data profiling, measures and critical metric definitions
Ability to implement scalable, standard processes and system automation
Solid understanding of relational database structures
Familiarity with core data management (CDM) solutions and data quality tools such as Informatica CDQ, Collibra, etc.
Define the characteristics of Core Data and understand approaches, difficulties, risk analysis, and mitigation for data mapping
Recognize the purpose of data governance by correlating business use cases and benefits
Makes space to listen, learn, and amplify diverse perspectives and experiences
Actively seeks out opportunities to champion and celebrate inclusion and diversity
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
