DIVISION AGENCY OPERATIONS/CENTRAL RECORDS POSITION TYPE - This is a hybrid position and is eligible for telecommuting up to three (3) days a week. The Agency Operations division is the administrative backbone to the PUCT and has several departments within the division that play an integral role to the everyday operations of the agency. Central Records receives and processes filing submissions for cases before the Commission. Staff membersassist customers, utility representatives, the public, and staff with filing documents in docketed cases and ongoing agency projects. Filed documents include pleadings, testimony, briefs, affidavits, requests for information, rulemakings, registrations, tariffs, certificates of convenience and necessity, sale, transfer, and mergers, interconnection agreements, ADADs, and annual reports. Staff also reviews filings and evaluates documents for compliance with federal and state privacy laws prior to processing. Central Records processes confidential materials, workshop and open meeting transcripts, and agency publications and works with the Financial Resources Division on billing and payments for registrations, copies, and publications. Central Records is seeking aCentral Records Supervisor with a strong initiative, a passion for the utility regulatory industry, and a drive to grow their career, knowledge, skills, and experience performing highly complex supervisory work through the oversight of the daily operations and activities of Central Records and its staff. Work involves ensuring accurate and efficient processing of agency records; establishing goals and objectives for the section; developing guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals; and coordinating and evaluating business function for Central Records activities. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications. Undergraduate degree in public administration, management, business administration and a minimum of three (3) years of professional exp rience in a position involving the handling and processing of records and files. Additional full-time work experience in the handling and processing of records and files may be substituted for education. Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience in a management position overseeing a team, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
