Frequent patrolling in a designated UT vehicle and/or on foot as assigned and by being observant at all times.Foot patrol includes walking for extended periods and climbing stairs. PSOs have access to a bicycle for patrols upon completing a training class. PSOs handle door position notification calls on the campus as are dispatched by the Department and will turn in any issues to the appropriate parties for repairs.Maintain effective communication with other UTPD personnel and professional, courteous communication with the public. UTPD PSOs should always be visible and approachable to assist any and everyone who needs help.Other related functions as assigned.
