Supervises assigned employees of a parking services operation. Responsible for the daily or event parking operations and for enforcing parking policies and regulations through assigned staff. Responsible for supervising the daily or event parking operations in order to keep parking areas accessible to authorized permit holders and event patrons. Coordinates and schedules parking arrangements for major public events, performances, graduations, meetings and conferences. Implements parking operations, policies and regulations. Provides guidance to assigned staff on parking issues and customer service skills.Evaluates staff in the operations of parking facilities. Determines personnel, work schedules, equipment, materials and supplies needed for parking operations and events. Resolves issues or complaints from faculty, staff, students, and the public. Arranges for necessary signage, barricades, maps, or passes needed for any parking purposes. Supervises cash operations and provides reports to management. Responds to emergency situations and complies with departmental protocol.May oversee the setup, take down, and inventory of all equipment needed for parking arrangements. May prepare reports regarding operation and status of area responsibility. May develop and conduct ongoing training sessions for parking personnel. May schedule routine vehicle maintenance and other repairs as needed. Drives UT vehicle.Performs related duties as assigned. Occasional weekend, holiday, comp, and overtime hours required as needed. Must work each home football game.
