Outbound Sales Development Representative
Locations: Austin, TX - This role is full time in office (5 days/week) for first 6 months of onboarding and ramp up period. After 6 months, it will be 3 days/week in office.

The primary focus of an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to generate sales pipeline that drives revenue through targeted outbound campaigns and sales plays for the Oracle Global Industry Unit (GIU). Sales pipeline is primarily generated through targeted outreach via multi-channel touchpoints including phone, email, and social outreach. SDRs will work within a team of industry sales specialists identifying prospects, generating leads, and qualifying pipeline. As an Outbound Business Development Representative, you will be the face of Oracle to many prospects who are starting sales cycles for industry specific mission critical solutions. A BDR generates, qualifies, prospects, and produces high quality opportunities for the GIU sales team.
Responsibilities:
Connect prospective clients with Oracle and generate 5-Star leads that convert to revenue.
Grow industry market share through new logo revenue generation.
Be an all star teammate that brings their best to work every day and displays teamwork by sharing best practices, collaborating, and working with colleagues on a global scale.
Account research, intelligence gathering, white spacing and industry knowledge.
Uncover & qualify prospective customer needs by understanding business challenges, while engaging key personas through discovery.
Build knowledge of the One Oracle stack and GIU solutions and become a trusted advisor to prospects.
Strategize and collaborate with sales and marketing team members while executing on outbound campaigns and sales plays in alignment with Industry go to market strategy.
Skills Requirement:
Financial Services industry domain experience preferred.
You have 2+ years’ experience in sales and/or a business development outbound prospecting role.
Software and technology experience is not required.
You have a Bachelor’s degree.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, you have at minimum 3 years of relative work experience working in an outbound sales/business development role and/or Industry domain experience

Responsibilities
As a Telesales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business with outbound telemarketing calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $22.31 to $34.81 per hour; from: $46,400 to $72,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
