GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Case Management Liaison of the Executive Project Management Office for the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) oversees case management training projects for the Administrative and Legal divisions of the OAG. The Senior Case Management Liaison devises training strategies for highly complex (senior-level) legal work focusing on the information technology tools that enable it. Work involves conducting classroom, on-the-job, and customized training sessions in legal topics related to case management systems and other supporting applications and tools. Assesses training needs and provides post-training support to OAG attorneys and non-attorney staff. Develops online curricula and uses other digital learning technologies to maximize cost-effective training strategies. This position will report to the Division Chief of the Executive Project Management Office (EPMO) Division. This position is based in Central/Austin Texas with the ability of working a hybrid schedule (remote and in-office work). Regardless of the primary duty point, the candidate must collaborate with relevant stakeholders throughout the state, and some travel to and from Austin and other worksites throughout the state for in-person meetings will be necessary. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS Schedules, coordinates, and conducts attorney and non-attorney training classes in a variety of venues, including regional training centers, offsite training facilities, conference rooms, and free available training space; develops presentation training materials, including PowerPoint slide shows, training aids, and handouts; and oversees and maintains the updates to assigned training modules and supporting documentation Serves as a subject matter expert on assigned topics, including but not limited to Salesforce Litify Case Management System and other applications/systems used by the enterprise; serves as a Training representative and resource. Utilizes distance learning mediums such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and/or Webex technologies. Provides technical assistance, posts training advice to agency staff on complex questions, and participates in solving training inquiries or issues making recommendations for resolution; identifies training needs including specialized training for OAG employees; formulates, implements, and monitors training plans to meet specific needs of the agency. Plans and directs the implementation of educational programs, services, and activities; evaluates the effectiveness of training programs; compiles data and prepares periodic training reports as required; performs administrative tasks to include devising training schedules/ calendars and maintaining class and student information on the Learning Management System; generates participants training book requests for publication and dissemination, and completes forms for scheduling training classes. Participates in training development and delivery for the Case Management System May train less tenured attorney trainer staff as well as other agency employees Maintains training records and training calendars, including course rosters and records of participation Performs related work as assigned Maintains relevant knowledge necessary to perf rm essential job functions Attends work regularly in compliance with agreed-upon work schedule Ensures security and confidentiality of sensitive and/or protected information Complies with all agency policies and procedures, including those pertaining to ethics and integrity Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; experience in the following (or closely related) fields may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis: Communication, Business, or Education Experience: One to three years of experience using Salesforce and Salesforce Litify Experience: One to three years of experience using Box Experience: Three+ years conducting training Experience and expertise in legal case processing through Salesforce Litify Case Management System Experience in delivery of adult learning principles Experience in the design of a variety of training materials and online training development Experience in navigating and using Salesforce, Salesforce Litify, Box, and Microsoft Suite Knowledge of training procedures and techniques Knowledge of written and published training materials and supplemental materials Skill in preparing and delivering presentations to various audiences Skill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines Skill in project management monitoring, addressing changes in scope and budget, and the use of a computer and applicable software Skill in exercising sound judgment, making critical decisions, and ensuring effective outcomes Skill in producing training documents Ability to establish project goals and objectives; analyze complex information and develop plans addressing identified issues; demonstrate negotiation and facilitation skills; identify project risks and gaps; prepare reports; and direct, assign, and evaluate the work of project staff Ability to receive and respond positively to constructive feedback Ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional office environment Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to arrange for personal transportation for business-related travel Ability to work more than 40 hours as needed and in compliance with the FLSA Ability to lift and relocate 30 lbs. Ability to travel (including overnight travel) up to 10% PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Four years of full-time experience in the OAG or similar experience serving or consulting in a legal capacity in state, local, or federal government settings.
