Pilot ISalary Grade B24 $62,004 - $101,556Performs complex aviation-related work. Work involves planning and coordinating aeronautical operations, operating fixed-wing land-based aircraft including the Embraer Phenom 100EV, and providing air transport services for passengers and/or cargo. Work requires extensive travel. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product. Pilot IISalary Grade B26 $72,886 - $123,267Performs senior level and highly complex aviation-related work. Primary responsibility includes piloting fixed wing aircraft to include the Embraer Phenom 100EV and providing transport service for passengers and cargo. Work also involves planning and coordinating aeronautical operations. Work requires extensive travel. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.Essential Duties: All levels:As required, assists with emergency situations/conditions by airlifting equipment, supplies and people.Assists in training others.Compiles and prepares necessary reports.Coordinates and schedules flight plans with applicable flight service staff. Inspects condition of aircraft and maintains records pertaining to operation of aircraft.Maintains flying proficiency and knowledge; keeps abreast of current aviation and applicable aircraft developments to include industry guidelines and standards and applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.May serve as a lead worker and the related tasks.Operates radio equipment aboard airplane.Operates single- and multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft to transport passengers and designated goods.Reads applicable advisory notices, obtains weather data and interprets/applies data based on flight plan, as required adjusts schedules and routes.Responsible for and ensures safe operation of aircraft and safety of passengers, crew and support staff; as required, administers first aid to others.Serves as Pilot-in-Command.May perform other duties such as: flight operations, maintenance management, aviation safety, pilot training and drone operations.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned for the Flight Department.
