Perform maintenance and repair work in the performance of a variety of tasks in one or more craft areas independently or with others. Task areas include HVAC maintenance (adjust thermostats, change filters, etc.), plumbing maintenance (repair clogged commodes, sinks, urinals, etc.), electrical maintenance (replace light bulbs/fixtures), painting and carpentry repairs.Perform set-up and take-down of tables, chairs, and other equipment for the Wildflower Center or privately sponsored events held on-site. Support special events outside of normal working hours.Secure buildings and rooms on schedule and/or after cleaning. Secure campus site and boundary fence gates. Follow correct unlocking, locking, and alarm procedures. Interact with visitors, volunteers, and staff in a professional, courteous manner. Drive golf cart to perform duties in remote locations of the property.Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash throughout the facility, including cleanliness of areas outside buildings (picnic areas, patios, water stations, etc.) Keep closets organized, stocked, and clean. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisors and Safety Committee.Other duties as assigned.
