Essential Job Functions:
Primarily responsible for the direct supervision of daily landscape maintenance areas and assigned staff members. This individual must possess or obtain within 3 months, a pesticide application certification through the Texas Department of Agriculture.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and professionalism with a positive attitude.
Understand daily job assignment chart to maximize staff capabilities in accomplishing daily maintenance as it relates to Owners/managers/members/guests requirements.
Recognize the various equipment applications necessary to assist when assigning job tasks.
Demonstrate a proficient knowledge of landscape plant material and its proper applications.
Demonstrate proficient abilities to lead a team to accomplish established goals.
Perform all landscape maintenance tasks with a sense of pride and ownership adhering to established quality guidelines for daily property conditioning.
Operate all equipment safely and with care and consideration of its value. Report any damage and or lack of performance to a supervisor. Also demonstrate an understanding of the work order system for equipment repair and maintenance.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations as outlined in the Omni Hotels employee handbook.
Tools and Equipment:
Irrigation system including programming of controllers
Must be able to work shifts upwards of 12-16 hours.
Must be able to work outside in the heat/cold on a regular basis.
Must be able to lift moderate to heavy weight.
Must be able to safely and properly operate a golf cart.
High paced busy environment
Work regularly inside and outside the golf shops. Travel around the resort property required.
Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
