AT&T Hotel & Conference Center IT Technician (On-Site) in Austin, Texas
Join our AT&T Hotel and Conference Center IT team as our next IT Technician!
The Ideal candidate will be supportive of all desktop systems, peripheral equipment (printers, IP Phones, Fax Machines, Scanners, etc.) and productivity applications (MS Office and hotel specific client software) to insure reliable, secure operation. Assist in support of all server applications, network maintenance, Cisco phone system, and point of sale system. This role is ON-SITE, not remote.
Compensation: $25/HOUR
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Handle day to day incoming tickets into Jira ticketing system on a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and coordinate installation and changes to Server applications, network devices, desktop applications, POS and PMS application, and other client software
Administer issuing telephones and end user IT equipment needs.
Prepare and install system images and profiles, server builds, configuration
Provide connectivity to users in the meeting rooms for special events, as required
Timely completion of projects assigned by manager
Diagnose and correct system problems; including user errors, configuration errors, and bugs
Evaluate and configure new hardware/software systems (early mornings and weekends inclusive)
Assist end-users with all system related queries
Diagnose and repair hardware; including printers, computers, terminals, and other devices
Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain hardware/software, inclusive of network infrastructure devices
Comply with all company safety and health policies and procedures.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.
Maintain expertise in PC Server hardware and software trends
Stay current on hospitality technology trends
OTHER DUTIES
Assimilate into The AT&T Hotel & Conference Center, the Family PLATINUM SERVICE culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of PLATINUM SERVICE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Flik from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled.
MS Windows OS (10,11 Server 2016, Server 2019, Sever 2022)
MS Office
Basic Networking
Microsoft Group Policy
Cisco Phone Systems experience preferred
Point of Sale Systems experience preferred
VMware experience preferred
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School diploma required.
EXPERIENCE LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Certificates in computer hardware and software expertise recommended. Advanced certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, or others a plus.
At least 3 years of Desktop Experience. At least 3 years of Network Experience. At least 2 years of service industry.
