Work you'll do

As an HR Benefits Implementation Leader, you will:

  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects

  • Lead day-to-day interactions with clients and the Deloitte project team

  • Provide strategic and technical employee benefit consulting services to plan sponsors (e.g., employers, state, county, and city governments, etc.)

  • Lead pursuit teams focused on new opportunities and lead major aspects of the proposal development process

  • Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues

  • Lead clients through projects that will modernize their legacy systems

  • Work with clients to develop requirements and work with technical teams to design the new solution

  • Lend business expertise in testing systems for accuracy

  • Work with clients to address data gaps

  • Modernize business processes to better meet demands

  • Provide counseling, coaching, leadership, and support for delivery teams and staff

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10 years of benefits administration experience

  • Experience with retirement plans such as defined contribution and/or defined benefit

  • Experience with implementing rewards technology solutions; including requirements gathering, project management, process redesign, and testing

  • 5 + years of experience in new business sales and RFP development

  • Knowledge of MS office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred:

  • Experience with project management, presentation, and facilitation

  • Experience with implementing technology solutions related to benefits administration

  • Experience with gathering requirements related to the implementation of new technology solutions

  • Experience with testing and validating new technology solution meets business needs

  • Experience in cleansing and validating data used for day-to-day administration of the plans

  • Experience with business process reengineering and development

  • Experience with mentoring and coaching others

  • Prior Management Consulting experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $167,000 to $278,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
