Global Events Manager - Enablement Events and Programs

At SailPoint, we are committed to driving growth through effective go-to-market strategies and initiatives. We are seeking a Global Events Manager - Enablement Events and Programs to play a pivotal role in enhancing our event capabilities globally, focusing on sales and partner enablement events.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, experienced in both in-person and virtual event production logistics, managing year-long cycles of planning, and strong collaborator in working within cross-functional teams. This position will oversee the planning, management, and execution for global sales enablement and partner events, including the annual Sales Kick Off (SKO), mid-year sales training webinars, and other strategic enablement activities. This role will ensure these events align with our organizational goals, providing a seamless and impactful experience for all participants.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy for sales enablement and partner events, including SKO, training webinars, and partner enablement events that align and support organizational goals.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor negotiation, logistics, sponsorships, and on-site coordination with a focus on global considerations such as time zones, languages, and cultural nuances.
  • Provide "single-point accountability" at the event - managing, coordinating, and collaborating with outside vendors, general contractors, SailPoint team members to ensure event execution delivers within set budget, timeline, and stated goals.
  • Manage project and budget for events including tactical plans, ongoing status reviews and post-event assessment with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with sales leadership and revenue enablement leadership to tailor events to the specific needs of the sales team and partners, ensuring alignment with sales strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with the revenue enablement team and other relevant teams to ensure cohesion and alignment on objectives, messaging, and branding.

Requirements

  • 4 years experience in end-to-end event strategy, planning, management and execution.
  • Exceptional project and program management and organizational skills coupled with strong and holistic attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain a view of the overall business situation when making decisions and setting policies.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize several activities with multiple components requiring independent follow through and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding budget planning, forecasting, development and management skills.
  • Very strong communication (oral || written || presentation) and collaboration skills, with the ability to establish, manage and track clear roles and responsibilities across teams and functions.
  • Very strong post-event capabilities to summarize, track results, and consolidate and present feedback and lessons-learned.
  • Strong creative and innovation skills with relevant proven ability to connect-the-dots and bring out-of-the-box thinking and ideas.
  • Experience in crisis management and problem-solving related to global events.
  • Proficiency with event management tools, registration platforms, CRM systems, and other event technology to streamline processes and improve attendee experiences.

Travel

Ability to travel up to 30% on a global basis.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint's differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD): $91,910 - $131,300 - $170,690 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee's home location.
