Field Service Technician II

Job Description

This position is for a Field Service Technician II supporting a product line at a semiconductor plant. The role involves maintaining the exhaust and distribution system that controls heat and chemical flow to microchip ovens. You will work in conjunction with other suppliers' equipment, providing repair support. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and occasional installations. You will document all completed work to report back on what has been serviced and repaired.

Skills and Qualifications

• Provide and document routine, breakdown, and preventative maintenance.

• Perform audits and quality inspections of the product line and processes.

• Complete documentation based on procedures and customer standards.

• Create and assemble test setups, prototypes, fixtures, and other equipment.

• Adhere to standard operating and safety procedures.

  • • Provide after-hours on-call support as part of a rotating schedule every 3 weeks.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.

Work Environment

This position is based in Austin. It is a first shift opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with a rotating on-call schedule every 4-5 weeks. The work may involve bending, kneeling, and climbing in tight spaces, and wearing smocks. The job can be physically demanding.
