TEKsystems Entry Level Cabling Technician in Austin, Texas
Description:
Cabling project at the Tesla Gigafactory in Austin, TX
Copper and fiber dressing, testing, plug in for gigafactory location
They are building out a data center for Tesla once they're under an NDA and that they will be racking and stacking and cabling 968 racks and pull in 700 trunks in 4 months.
Experience Level: 1 year minimum
Location: Austin Texas: 1 Tesla Rd, Austin, TX 78725
Start Date: July 17th
End Customer: Tesla
Schedule: Four 10 hour days for a total of 40 hour weeks. With option of one of the below scehdule (subject to availability)
Schedule A: Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 5pm
Schedule B: Monday to Thursday 4pm to 2:30 am
Schedule C: Thursday to Sunday 6:30am to 5pm
Schedule D: Thursday to Sunday 4pm to 2:30 am
Skill Set:
Rack and stack
Copper and fiber dressing
Copper and fiber testing and plug in
PDU install and plug in
Techs will need: Hard hat, Vest, Boots, Hand tools (snips, screw drivers, etc.)
