We are seeking a Director of Finance to join our corporate team.
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and FP&A, the Director of Finance is a senior member of the ATLAS Finance team and will be responsible for leading financial management and financial sustainability activities, managing an operations/finance support team, and ensuring effective office operations across the organization. The position requires a high degree of coordination and collaboration with the development team and outside partners. The Director of Finance should have experience building teams and organizations in fast-growth environments.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead management reporting, including operational KPI’s, dashboards, business trends and performance vs plan to deliver weekly financial updates, monthly performance analyses and quarterly rolling forecasts.
Lead preparation of the semi-annual planning process and maintain the rolling three-year financial plan.
Lead initiatives to continuously improve and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes.
Manage quarterly financial update process for investors and be the main point of contact.
Assist with loan compliance reporting.
Assist with leadership of regional finance directors.
Assist with FP&A team initiatives
Corporate profit/loss, balance sheet & cash-flow planning, reporting & optimization
Interpret and present key findings directly to and engage with senior leadership across multiple functions.
Create analyses, commentary and presentation materials for Board and leadership meetings.
Create financial models to help evaluate and assess new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Exhibit true mastery of handling most complex analytics including business issues that are beyond finance.
Partner with functional business teams to provide value-added business insight and decision support.
Serve as a true financial resource to internal business partners.
Evangelize a data-driven, analytical approach to business issues across the company.
Required Meetings : Staff and executive meetings as scheduled.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, a related field, or relevant work experience.
10+ years of finance experience with a mix of startup and investment banking.
Self-starter who is able thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines and changing priorities.
Proven track record of breaking down and solving complex problems with impeccable business judgment. Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
Superior analytical, modeling and presentation skills.
Superior problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with executive management.
Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output.
Willing and excited about diving into the numbers and being hands-on.
Must be a "self-starter" with a can-do attitude and execution mindset.
Strong business acumen with ability to see "big picture" and strategize.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with business units.
Technical Requirements:
ERP experience, Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
Advanced Excel skills
SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx experience to analyze large datasets
