Join our team as a Data Scientist II, where you'll dive deep into complex data sets to uncover actionable insights, build machine learning pipelines, integrating MLOps and Gitops best practices to automate model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments

  • Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large data sets from multiple disparate sources

  • Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers

  • Creates analytical models with emphasis on predicative and prescriptive analytics

  • Supports creation of visual graphics to adequately analyze historical data and display trending

  • Supports evaluation of 3rd party analytics algorithms and analytics framework

  • Support Integration of statistical models into Zebra’s platforms, products or services by collaborating with software development team

  • Performs data analysis of customer specific data to help diagnosis customer specific issues

  • Evaluates and make recommendations to evolve data collected to improve analytics

  • Evaluates and define new data to collect for products or services under consideration for development or in development cycle

  • Meets with customers and present data analysis and reports; also gather customer requirements relative to data analytics, data modeling, data visualization

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree–masters or PhD-strongly preferred in Statistics, Mathematics, Data / Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Expertise in Azure and GCP Databricks environments.

  • Proficiency in PySpark and SQL for large-scale data manipulation and modeling.

  • Experience with Git, MLOps and setting up CI/CD pipelines for data science projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Statistics modeling and machine learning algorithms.

  • Data Mining.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable with presenting to senior management and CxO level executives.

  • Self motivated and self starter with high degree of work ethic.

Salary: USD 82500.00 - USD 123700.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
