Job Summary:

Trane in Carrollton, Texas is hiring a Project Superintendent! The Project Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Construction Project Manager to assure that the projects are completed and maintain the standard of excellence established by the company and customer. Certain tasks will be assigned by the Assistant Construction Project Manager to take the lead on with little oversight. Along with working with the Construction Project Manager, this role will be given opportunity to execute selected projects including managing financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction. The Project Superintendent will ensure that quality standards are maintained across all tasks and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Manager functions by assisting with:

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders

  • Ability to lead and manage onsite team, subcontractors, and provide daily updates to project manager

  • Coordinates and oversees job site logistics, daily work activities, day - to - day customer interactions, and progress of all subcontractors

  • Orders material for projects, responsible for on-site material, reconciles material shipments, and coordinates delivery of equipment and material with subcontractors.

  • Responsibility include knowledge of and adherence to identifying project deficiencies and provide guidance on corrective actions, identifying and mitigating risk, managing to business compliance, maintaining contract compliance for customer and subcontractors, project documentation, safety guidelines, and maneuvering through governing agencies.

  • Ability to lead and manage onsite team, subcontractors, and internal departments (Equipment, Service & Controls).

  • Provide updates for daily reports, schedule progress, look ahead work to be completed

  • Maintain quality control of work completed

  • Coordinate materials for projects, responsible for on-site material, reconciles material shipments, and coordinates delivery of equipment and material with subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Six years of construction industry experience; or two year degree from technical college in related field with four years of experience in the construction industry or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient at reading plans, specifications; familiarity with project schedules, budgets, safety procedures, to ensure adherence to these.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:

  • DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Base Compensation Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually.

***Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, experience, geographic location where the work is performed, etc.

This role has been designated as Hybrid – Flex for your day .  While most work must be done on-site, there is flexibility to work remotely when workflow and priorities allow. *The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require.
