The top half of the posted salary range is generally reserved for candidates who exceed the requirements and qualifications for the role. Position Overview: The Communities In Schools (CIS) Program Coordinator provides statewide leadership in coordinating the Agency activities associated with the CIS program. The CIS program is designed to support students who are at risk of dropping out of high school. The program coordinates community and campus resources to make them more accessible to the students who need them. The CIS Program Coordinator will oversee the development and implementation of CIS program requirements and technical assistance initiatives to promote CIS program growth and effectiveness. This position will also assist in developing both quantitative and qualitative metrics to determine the success of initiatives and the quality of the implementation of standards and practices. The CIS Program Coordinator collaborates with a CIS team that consists of a Student Support Manager and a Student Mental Health Program Manager. This position reports to the Director of Counseling, Advising, and Student Supports, a team formed to empower districts in their efforts to plan, implement, evaluate, and provide supportive student services. You may perform other functions as assigned. 1. Program Management: Writes and updates program-related documents including, but not limited to, CIS grant applications and CIS of Texas Program Manual. Considers all project dependencies and risks and manages all stakeholders to ensure the quality execution of project deliverables. Develops project and work plans to ensure fidelity of implementation.2. Program Quality: Supports CIS affiliates in operating successfully by providing resources or technical assistance when necessary. Uses existing review processes to determine the needs of CIS affiliates through data verificatio reviews, document reviews, and site visits and then supports growth as required. Considers program dependencies and risks and manages high-quality execution of project deliverables.3. Partner Management: Connects CIS affiliates to high-quality resources and programs, demonstrating positive student outcomes. Manages relationships with internal and external CIS stakeholders so that meaningful work happens toward agreed-upon priorities.4. Stakeholder Engagement: Builds and sustains meaningful relationships with the CIS affiliate administration and CIS Inc. staff to keep state involvement impactful. This includes planning, presenting, and facilitating meetings, convenings/conferences, and reporting outcomes.
