Wolters Kluwer Clinical Content Specialist – Nursing (Nurse Educator) in Austin, Texas

LOCATION: Remote U.S. (prefer West Coast, but open to other locations)

OVERVIEW

You will join our innovative team and contribute to our mission of providing faculty and students with exceptional educational resources. Known for our leadership in the Nursing Education market, we are committed to continuously developing new and inventive ways to engage faculty, encouraging them to adopt best practices that prepare students for successful entry into the nursing profession. Your role combines deep academic expertise, an understanding of educational andragogy, and a focus on evidence-based practices to ensure that nursing faculty and students are well-prepared for entry-level practice and success on the NCLEX exam.

You will be skilled in building meaningful relationships and working collaboratively across interdepartmental teams to deliver best-in-class faculty support. By closely partnering with institutional leadership and faculty, you will help integrate our products into nursing curricula. Additional responsibilities may include facilitating NCLEX reviews, delivering public presentations, collaborating with product teams, and attending relevant local and national meetings or conferences. Your role is essential in ensuring that nursing educators are equipped with the resources and support needed to excel in their teaching and fostering the next generation of nurses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to provide seamless, best-in-class faculty support.

  • Provide updates to assessment products and coordinate efforts with the nursing education team.

  • Be a creative thinker who is passionate about nursing education, faculty development, and student success.

  • Collaborate in a team-based approach to create solutions, act, and achieve goals.

  • Understand the current market of Nursing Education and its impact on student success.

  • Focus on preparing future nurses for the innovative and the dynamic world of nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Licensure:

  • Master’s degree in nursing education required, or relevant experience.

  • Active RN licensure (unencumbered)

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in nursing education

  • Teaching experience in academic nursing to understand the role of faculty, curriculum design and assessment, teaching strategies, learning styles, and learning platforms.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:

  • Interpersonal skills to develop professional relationships with key stakeholders including faculty, administrators, and Wolters Kluwer nurse educators and staff.

  • Working knowledge of the Next Generation NCLEX, andragogy, and strategies for building clinical judgment

  • Ability to review educational challenges and develop effective, evidence based.

  • Welcomes change and innovation in the organization and educational process.

  • Strives to build efficiencies and standardized processes to best serve the client and company.

  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet business goals and objectives.

  • Knowledge of Lippincott, NurseThink, and NurseTim products preferred.

TRAVEL: Up to 50% for client training and coaching, meetings, and conferences.

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750
